Kirk Smith is a seasoned chartered accountant with fourteen years of experience in the construction, manufacturing, retail, government and hospitality industries; serving in an auditing and both a mid-level and senior executive role leading all aspects of finance, information technology, human resources and accounting operations and providing professional leadership and development to teams, both in a single, and a multi-location environment. Mr. Smith started his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, before moving on to be the Financial Controller with leading construction & manufacturing companies for the following decade. Mr. Smith started KS Consulting Inc. in September 2014 with his main goal being that of working with small and medium size entities to develop sound accounting practices and reporting structures to assist business owners and management to make sound and timely management decisions. To date, KS Consulting manages a client portfolio of multiple companies and has a staff compliment of four. Mr. Smith is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB) and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Heriot Watt University.
